Is Novasal safe for WLS patients

Has anyone been prescribed Novasal? I am 10 weeks post op and having a lot of back pain. It is caused from arthritis. Before my surgery I took Celebrex which took care of the pain....but had to stop prior to surgery and was told I could not take it. My regular doctor has prescribed Novasal and said it was safe for the stomach. I asked my surgeon about the drug and he said he wasn't familiar with it. When I read the precautions for this drug online, it seems that it might be a problem for our pouches. Has anyone else used this drug and if so any problems?
