WLS after Coronary Artery Bypass Graph Surgery

I had to have cardiac bypass surgery before I started planning my WLS. Does this make it easier for my insurance company to approve my surgery, or does it hinder it. I'm just looking for ideas now. I plan on having my surgery at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago and my presurgical planning at their Wellness Institute.
