Can we use Vicks products post op

Hi! I am almost 2 years post op so I should know this but I have the flu. Can we use those white tubes made by Vicks that you put by your nose and breath it in. The menthol helps with you breath easier. I am so afraid to use certain medications since I developed 2 bleeding ulcers from taking Motrin. Thanks - Tracy
