Taking a sleeping pill for my second Sleeping test.....

I am going tomorrow for my second sleeping test, the technician told me that I can't take any medication, but I don't want to go back for a third one, first because it's horrible I had scabs in my head for a month, we had to drive for nearly two hours, and I just couldn't sleep with all those wires all over me and some guy looking in a camera. I also sleep with all the pillows in the world because of my GERD, and Hiatel Hernia and they only gave me one little pillow. Anyway do you guys think that will afect the study if I take an over the counter sleeping pill?.What was your expierence , it will really help me to know it.Thank you all, and God Bless you.
