Has anyone tried the jars of only baby food meat

Gerber Baby Foods has 2 1/1 ounce jars of just meat, beef, turkey and chicken. Has anyone tried those for their protein requirements after surgery. I was thinking this would be easier for when I first come home from the hospital.
