Anyone have a surgeon in the NY area who didn't wait until the day before your

consultation appointment to cancel? I am becoming increasingly frustrated, as 2 different surgeons "cancelled" my appointment, the day before it was to occur. To make matters worse, the only reason I knew my appointments had been cancelled, was that I was calling for instructions for the 2 hour drive I had to make, to get there. Of course they will rescehdule me, for 3 weeks later ... when I had to wait 6 weeks for the 1st appointment they cancelled. Does this happen often?! I am sorry if this question makes me sound rude, but you'd think that as a surgeon with a reputation to uphold, they would've at least called me? Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks!
