What is everybody taking for calcium?

Hi! I am 5 days post op and doing fine - no pain. The dietician that I spoke to in the hospital said to take Tums 500 or Viativ twice a day. When my sister went to buy them for me she said that they have sugar in them. She bought me this other type with no added sugar. It's a chewable chocolate that tastes nasty. What is everybody taking for calcium? Also - when I take my multivitamin should I take bits out of it or just take the pill whole and chew it very well. Thanks!!!
