Why, when I think about doing this surgery, I feel like I'm giving myself...

a death wish? I hopefully will be having this surgery by Summer, and I have found a doctor, Dr. Mitchell in Pinherst NC. I'm just scared I'll be the one to never wake up after the surgery. I mean I am a positive person, I think I have the jitters about WLS. Can anyone give me advice on how to stay calm and go through this like a trooper?
