Quality of hospital stay

Can anyone give me feedback on St. Johns hospital in queens NY? How about St. Francis in Roslyn? If I choose St. Johns I would have a much quicker surgery date with Dr. Garber, but my family is against that hospital. Is it worth the wait for St. Francis?
