How much water can you drink at one time?

I had my surgury on June 11,01 and I have no problem drinking a 8 oz glass of water in about 2 minutes, can anyone tell me if this is normal. I am so afraid of failing. I also cant get this eating for a 1/2 hour down, I try and prolong it but I usually end up full in less than 5 minutes and then feel REALLY full in 10-15 minutes because it finally catches up with me. Can some post op people please tell me of some of the ordeals they went through. I only eat a little bit but I am worried about how quick I can down the fluids.
