I'm 8 days post on a Lap-Band.....and I'm starvinggggggg! My stomach growls

constantly...is this normal? Also, I have another question...kinda gross, but I need to know from other banders....how do you throw up with a band in place? How does stuff come back up? Knock on wood, I only threw up once in the hospital from a pain medication and I was empty, but now I'm afraid of getting the flu!
