For those looking for help with menu planning

There is a good article called "Do You Know What to Eat for All-Day Energy?" in the August 2003 issue of Natural Health. It compares energy-sapping snacks and meals to energy-boosters, and points out how the sugar content in some foods throws blood sugar levels out of whack. Plus, it goes into why certain foods are better choices than others. Overall, I found it to be very informative yet easy to understand, and thought it might be helpful for post-ops who are struggling with food choices or are dumping on high-glycemic foods without knowing what they are.
