Anyone have ideas on financing my portion of surgery?

Dr Rabkin in San Francisco charges $3,000 above what the insurance will pay. I don't have the cash and I don't have very good credit is anybody familliar with any institution willing to take on bad financing risks? I'm steadily employed and could pay it back within 6 months...
