Why does it sometimes hurt when I drink water?

I am 11 days post op and I have had few problems. I am finding it very hard to get in 64 oz of water a day. Water makes me cramp. It is a wierd feeling. It almost feels like the water goes straight through my stomach and right into my intestines where is starts causing cramps. Help..I hate drinking water now and I used to love it.
