How Do Meds Affect Weightloss?. Can allergy meds effect weightloss?

I've got severe allergies, and take Benedryl every night. The active ingrediant is Dyphenhydramine, wich is also the ingrediant that causes 'dopiness' and sleepiness. My loss isn't going very quickly, I'm 3 1/2 mo. post-op, and down 65lb. Do you guys think the meds can be affecting anything? Also, is it possible to feel gallbladder pain in my chest and in my upper left back? It's a sharp, stabbing pain. (not my heart, more like muscle spasm)
