Calling all Lap Post-ops......Does anyone have a scar tissue build up?

I am a month and a 1/2 post-op, I had the Lap RYN, I am wondering if anyone else has experienced this. My one incision site which right under my sturnum (Breast Area)is very red hot and swollen, it feels like a lump underneath. The scar is a purple color. Has any one else had this, I have called my Doctor but I am still waiting to hear from him. Is this normal? I am just worried because it is near my heart and lungs, and if it is an infection I need to take care of it now! Thanks to any help any one has.
