I have a couple of questions for the list:

I saw my surgeon on 5/11 and have not heard a single word from my insuror. I do expect a denial per their exclusion policy. My first question is how long does it generally take to get a response from an insuror and do they have to respond positive or negatively. Second, I am considering a consult with another surgeon for a possible hip replacement. I really don't want to do this but may not have a choice as the pain is getting unbearable. Has anyone else had a hip replacement and could you share the cost information for hip-replacement surgery? Thanks in advance.
