What about starting another area in the forum?

The post that Melissa posted quoting a great deal of biblical passages, seems to have caused a great deal of contraversy. I happen to be a christian, but I don't push it on others. I posted a couple of posts concerning the idea of contacting individually by email if a person wishes to preach a sermon or offer more than "thoughts and prayers" in their posts, as this is not a religious chat board, it is a weightloss surgery chat board. I feel that there are many here who are offended (obviously by some of the posts) and that there are many agnostics, atheists, jews, and others who don't believe as the people do who posted the "sermons" for lack of a better word. I feel that there are some, that could be put off and potentially leave the support of this group, if they're constantly bombarded with religious posts. SO ... in thinking about this after getting a rather snotty email, from the post-er, I will offer this solution. Perhaps, Eric, you could add an area to the posts such as ... "faith and healing" or "Christian Insites" or something on that line, so that if people wish to read these type of posts, they may, and if they don't they don't have to. Just my two cents worth ... I hope you'll consider it.
