What affect does alcohol have on post-ops?

I know that we could probably feel the affects of alcohol quicker because of WLS. I am really not a drinker but when I did drink it was daquaris or other sweeter tasting drinks. I'm not so worried about the alcohol in these drinks as I am to the sugar used in the mixes. I would hate to have a drink than get double slammed but the alcohol and dumping from the sugar. How have other tolerated mixed drinks post-op?
