Does anyone know what Public Aid requires to approve surgery?

I am trying to find out what Public Aid in IL requires to approve the WLS...I am 275 pounds and am 5'6" i have knee problems and can hardly walk most days, I have diabetes in my family, have been diagnosed with depression and NEVER sleep at night anymore...I don't know what they consider enough of a reason for surgery and I certainly dont wanna waste anyones time....I get to go see the Nutritionist for Dr. Oliphant on Nov 17th and Dr. Oliphant for a consultation on Dec 1st....I just dont wanna wait all that time for nothing and I certainly don't want to waste their time and take an appointment space from someone who might actually get approved. If anyone can help me I woukld certainly apprieciate it!!
