Seeking Those Who Found Alternative Payment Options

I too am desperately seeking help. My insurance will not pay for surgery, I make too much money for aid, cannot get disablilty (even though I have de-gererative arthritis in both knees), cannot afford self-pay. I applied for other insurance, and they won't take me because of my weight. I have a great job, but the city I work for doesn't offer insurance as a benefit, and of course no one would accept my application for insurance anyway!!!! What can a person do???
