did anyone with bcbs fl ppo get approval w/only 8 mth. supervised diet instead of 12?

I only had thier policy since Aug.2002 so only been on Dr. supervised diet since then only 8 months worth the ins. is asking for 12 i have about 5 co-morbidities and the doctor is writting me a medically neccesary letter ..Did anyone get approved without the full 12 months? any info. would be appriciated Thank You
