I would like to hear from anyone who sucessfully had the WLS while they had COPD

COPD (Cronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease). I just today was released from the hospital after a week of Acute Respiratory Distress caused by COPD. I am 6 wks away from my WLS and am feeling very concerned and worried. Would like to talk to someone who has this condition and had the surgery so I can ask how you are now and what I can expect.
