I'm a guy and need friendship help.
I am two and a half months post-op and have lost 75 Lbs. And I think i'm also losing my best friend. I have been friends with him ever since grade school, 15 years. But ever since my surgery and subsequent weight loss things have began to drastically change. He seems funny when we hang out. He joined a gym and started to workout daily, he is not MO. It almost feels as if he's threatened by me losing the weight. I have always been the reserved one in our friendship, but know that I am losing weight my confidence level has gone up and I am more apt to try new things. Both our attitude changes have began to severely strain our friendship to the point where whenever I see him I tend to leave angered. I really value our friendship, but I am not going to go back to the way I was emotionally just to stay friends with him. From a guy standpoint can anyone give me some advice?
