What are other protein options for breakfast?

I have been eating deli cheeses and meats for breakfast for the past 5 weeks and am growing quickly tired of them. I don't particularly like cream of wheat (loved it before surgery) and can only down a little bit of oatmeal. Eggs are TOTALLY OUT OF THE QUESTION! Peanut butter could be an option, but I am a little concerned about the fat intake with it. Does anyone have ideas about what I could eat for breakfast that would contain lots of protein? My doctor prefers that we not use supplemental protein shakes/drinks, but rather eat our required protein. Thanks for your suggestions and responses!
