Last night I vomitted for the first time

after eating something I didn't puree enough, and I think had too much fat in it (I'm 4 wks. post-op, open RNY). I spent 5 hours spitting up, gagging, burping, and finally vomitting up a little bit of it before I felt it pass through. Here's my question: What are the dangers of vomitting in relation to staple line problems? I assume it takes more than one bout of vomitting to damage the staple line but it has me panicked. I'm still experiencing swelling, pain etc. in my stomach anyway, and now every ache is freaking me out. Set my mind at ease, please. :)
