What are the symptoms of a stricture?

I am 8 weeks post-op and feel like I have had something stuck in my esophagous for about a week. All my food and liquids go down fine so I have not thrown up. My chest just hurts, and when I wake up in the morning, I feel this foamy saliva coming up.
