Should I call my surgeon for drainage after a Tummy tuck?

I had a tummy tuck a month ago. I started having drainage from under my belly button last week. I have been putting on peroxide & first aide creme and it seem to have stopped draining. The skin now looks red and shiny. Is this something I should worry about? Thanks!
