Has anyone had a combination of VBG & RNY?

My surgeon does a combination VBG & RNY. It's basically VBG with the intestine rerouted to give you the malabsorptive side of the RNY. He transects the stomach, so there isn't as much chance of a staple disruption. Has anyone done this? What are the long term outcomes? Are you satisfied with it?
