I have a terrible smell....

does anyone have any idea. I had a pretty rough time with surgery. I developed surgical pneumonia afterwards. I am 3mos. post op. And finally stopped coughing. but now if I lay on my back. or if I sit and squeeze my stomach tight a terrible smell comes up then I start coughing again. I can taste it and it seems to be a mix of metalic and pure crap. It is nasty. Someone please tell me my insides are not rotting. tia Sherri
