I got a job that has insurance, how long should I wait?

Today I got a job that has insurance (BCBS) and I have a appointment tomorrow about my medicaid eligibility and I was wanting to know should I go ahead and go to my appointment or just wait the 90 days for the insurance? Please help. [email protected]
