Inexpensive good protein poweders ???

I am having surgery April 28th. I have been researching protein powsders, and ALL of them are SOOO expensive. My family is on food stamps and I know they do not cover protein shakes. DOes anyone know of any good ones that are inexpensive, but have all the vitamins and minerals in them???
