Has anyone had or heard of problems with DVT's and pulmonary emboli post-op

I have been reading and hearing about problems post-op Gastric Adjustable Lap Band surgery with DVT's and pulmonary emboli. Has anyone experienced this or heard about any increased problem with this after surgery. Thanks, Jacque Crosier
