Has anyone ever felt something stuck in their throat, but no pain at all?

I am one month post op and sometimes I feel like something is stuck in my throat but at times it feels like it is down further. I feel absolutely fine; no pain, no nausea, vomiting, etc. It's just kind of a nuisance. Sometimes I don't feel it at all. I called my surgeon and he told me to gargle with warm salt water a few times a day because there still may be some swelling and this should help. Since I am in no pain and feel good, could this just be part of the healing process? Anyone felt like this? Please, any advice would help me. Thanks, Donna
