has anyone heard of switch surgury?

I had my consultion yesterday, Surgeon seemed knowlagable, very experianced, but the the nicest guy in the world but seemed like he is probablly very good at what he does. Anyway he said he thought the best sugury for me would be somthing he called a switch where instead of making a pouch they take away 3/4 of your stomach leaving the stomach fully fonctinal but more of in a tube shape, says that it will be less life changing because I will be able to eat more normally afterwards then with an RYN. He aslo said with this one that I could go back to solids in week 3. Just want to know if anyone has had this surgury or heard of it and what your results were with it. (just an fyi 22yrs old BMI 41)
