PCP doesn't think I am absorbing all of Wellbutrin SR. Gave higher dosage

Has anyone else had this problem? I really like the Wellbutrin SR & have had no side effects with it, but I don't seem to be getting the full effects like my doctor thinks I should so she upped my dosage to 400 mg a day. Anyone else taking this much? Thanks...
