Ulcer where intestine joins new pouch

I had surgery 4-19-02 and have developed an ulcer in the jejeunum (?) (where the intestine is joined to the new pouch. My doctor now says that this type of ulcer isn't acid related and may be caused by poor circulation to the intestine. Does anyone know about this and what the treatments may be? This really scares me despite my doctors reassurances because my Mom died after she lost circulation to her small bowel.
