Is there anyone out there 5 years or more ?

Today I went to my family dr for a check up as I had my surgery on 4/3 and thought I should see her . I did not get to see her pre op as she was out and I saw the covering dr . At that time the covering DR and the Rn both thought I was making a good move having this surgery . Today my regular Dr told me she did not approve of the surgery and that yes I would lose 100lb in the next year but that so many have so many problems and that what I really needed was to get therapy for eating . She told that she could not believe that the surgery was even legal and that the insurance company paid for that type of surgery . THat in 5 years I will put it all back on and that I will have nothing but problems with eating . I left feeling very depressed and upset . Has anyone out there post ob more then 3 years . Can you tell me how u are doing .
