For those of you who had surgery with Dr. Baltasar in Spain or ...

For those who have traveled outside of the USA what preparations did you have to make? I'm thinking of using Dr. Baltasar. Besides the airfare and passport what else did you have to get? Also, was there a concern regarding blood clots from the long trip? Anything I haven't thought of???? Thanks in advance!!!
