Need a referral from my PCP

I am scheduled to see my PCP next week, a follow up to blood work, and a referral for a sleep study. I have decided to speak with him right up front about getting a referral to the WLS surgeon. (my healthplan requires I have a PCP referral) I am putting together some documentation, and articles to give to him (spent hours at the News link) does anyone have any "must read" articles, or links I can visit to further gather information to help educate my physician. (I am a bit nervous because I am right on the border with a BMI of 40 - I want to help the process a long as well as I can) Thanks again, This site always a great source of information, Denise
