Corn on the cob -- problems? OK?

I am approaching 5 mo. post op. . .- 80 lbs open rny - and the sweet corn season is fast approaching northeaster Ohio. I have not had any corn since surgery. What are my chances with trying corn on the cob? Have you tried it? Bad reaction? No reaction? Don't know if it relative, but most meats give me a hard time. Thanks.
