Did anyone not tell anyone you were doing this

My boyfriend knows of course that i am going to do this but I am not going to tell my parents. Is this something i can hide if I don't live with them. I don't want anyone to know even people at work. I am going to take a week off from work for vacation. Will people say something about the amount of weight I loose?
