I found a egg sized lump under my scar????

I went to my primary doctor for something and a student doctor came in and did a quick exam...He was feeling my stomach and found under my scar right in the middle of it a lump I would say the size of a small egg. He dismissed it and said it is probaly part and a result of my surgery. I had never noticed it and you cant feel it unless you press down on that section. I am going to call my surgeon but I was wondering if anyone has had this or heard of this? I am worried. I am 3 weeks post op. Thanks
