My child is overweight also is it double standards to her?

My 11 year old daughter is about 20 pounds overweight, she has also felt the pain of her peers, she is concerned that I will be skinnier than her, we are very close; I need to reasure her that shes still o.k. but she seems confused, am I sending a wrong message here?
