I am so scared! I wake up in the middle of the night choking on

medication that I had taken two days ago. This is the second time this has happened and I thought it was my calcium pills because they were so large and did not desolve but this time it happened with Alieve. I can taste the medication and there is a very painful burning sensation in my chest. I don't know what to do because I do not want to go through the pain and terror. It seems the pills are stuck at the top of my throat but I have no sign of a problem until I wake up choking and gasping for air in while I am sleeping. Does anyone have this problem?
