I wondered who else had had inscision infection

I have a very nasty infection. It is about 2 inches long and totally filled with green stuff. My surgeon told me to clean it with peroxide. Yesterday I called and said it was not any better so he prescribed be an antibiotic. Today I have an appointment. I am scared that he will want to clean it out. Will it be painful? He won't want to put back in the hospital for this will he? I am just nervous and wondered if anyone else had an bad inscision infection before and what they did for it.
