Laid Off! Will new insurance cover plastic surgery??

I was just laid off yesterday (I saw it coming, though). My question is this: Will new insurance (when I get a new job) cover plastic surgery? I am 3 months post-op and am obviously not in a position to maintain COBRA payments for too long just to have plastic surgery? What should I do? Has anyone else had one insurer cover WLS and another one cover plastic surgery?
