Any suggestions for cooking for family after surgery? I am alone with a 13 yr old?

For the first 6 weeks post op I am going to be on a very strict mostly licquid diet. I am wondering how others prepared meals for their family? Did they assign this to someone else. My 13 yr old is a picky eater. I don't want to cause more trouble between us. She is not openly supportive about my WLS decision. Although I know she is embarrassed by my size.
