Will I gain the weight back

I am 6 months post-op, with open RNY, and have lost 96 lbs. and feel great and I think that I look good or should I say better. Everyone I have told about the surgery, has a tale to tell me that in the years to come I will gain it back because of either overeating or stomach streatching, I sure don't want to gain this weitht back. Is it really that easy to gain back, I do watch what I eat. I hope that this is not a trick for a year or so, and then later to be back to the same FAT me. Thanks for you answers... D
