Could drinking Crystal lite instead of plain water inhibit weight loss?
As many of you know already, I've been plagued with plateaus since my WLS (open RNY proximal) last March. As a rule, I've managed to get in my full 64oz of water daily, but most of that is usually in the form of a sugar-free, flavored water like Crystal lite. I do try to include just plain water (8-16 oz )as part of the 64 every day, but (and I know I may be just floundering here) I'm wondering if the Crystal lite could be contributing in someway to these plasted plateaus (or am I just "all wet"?).
